Here are links to where you can download FTP. We have provided video tutorials for three common FTP programs HERE (http://webhelp.visport.co.uk/democentre).
SmartFTP (http://www.smartftp.com/) - free for personal, educational, and non-profit use.
WS_FTP (http://www.download.com/3000-2160-10018456.html) - 30 day free trial then you need to buy.
Cute FTP (http://www.cuteftp.com/products/ftp_clients.asp) - again, free trial then you have to buy.
FileZilla (http://www.download.com/FileZilla/3000-2160_4-10558869.html?tag=lst-0-2) - free. Haven't used it myself but I have reliable reports that it's reliable and easy to use - quite similar to CuteFTP I was told.
I use Cute FTP myself and can definately recommend it. However, they all provide the same basic facilities well so unless you're doing a lot with it I can't say it's worth spending about £25 on one when FileZilla and SmartFTP is free.
