Setting up an email account

The tutorials given don't seem to tell me how to set up an email account on outlook 2007. I've tried a few times with the info in my welcome email though I've failed all 3 times.

Any ideas of what to do?

Try Mozill athunderbird. Free to download and really easy to use. Had the same problam with Outlook. www.mozilla.com (http://www.mozilla.com)

Cheers for that though I would really prefer to use outlook, I'm more familar with it and had an account set up with it before but never the 2007 version

Anyone know how to set up an account with an earlier outlook? Not sure hich one it is.

In the video tutorials at http://webhelp.visport.co.uk/ look for the section on emails. In there is a tutorial for Outlook 2003.

Outlook 2007 ... is slightly different but all the same info is needed so there really shouldn't be too much trouble getting that working. I use Outlook 2007 and set up the email accounts easily enough. In Outlook goto Tools > Account settings > E-mail tab ... then under that 'E-mail' tab there is an icon for 'New'. Follow the steps and it should work - doesn't look much different from Outlook 2003 (as in the video tutorial) after that.
