Starting training hard and eating right bout 16 months ago was 142kgs (Nov 06) have got down to 124.2kgs but for last 4 months have not moved a 1kg Im a diabetic on insulin control and have high BP at times. Last 3 months have started taking Maximuscle Promax Diet 2 times a day in morning and lunchtime but weight is not shifting at all. Have toned up incredibly well in both my arms and legs but starting to lose the faith with regards training 5 nights a week and seeing no return on it. Any ideas on getting the weight to shift??

Typical training week:

Mon: 1/2 hour spin, 1 hr Pump
Tues: Swimming
Wed: 3 mile run, sprints etc... total 1.5hr workout
Thurs: Swimming
Fri: 4.5 mile walk/run
Sat: Rest
Sun: 5 mile walk

Thnaks in advance

You are certainly doing enough work to expect better results, I suspect the diabetes is playing a part in all this, are your blood sugar levels well controlled? It can be difficult as you well know balancing your carb intake and insulin along with strenuous activity. There has to be some tweaks required in your diet but my advice is to take it up with the dietitian at your next review at the diabetic clinic.

I am also trying for reducing the weight. But i am not a diabetic patient.Recently i heard that drinking as much water before the meals helps to reduce the weight.
